dorothy! dorothy! where are you??

so i've relocate myself to kansas for the next couple of days...
i bought some blue sky alpacas dyed cotton from lettuce knit before i left... and i got some freedom cotton a couple days before from ruti's needlebed...
i know i said that i wasn't gonna invest in anymore but there are some projects that require yarn that isn't grey or black...
i've invested in COLOUR!
anyways... i was telling fredrik about how i wanted to make this kitty... http://www5a.biglobe.ne.jp/~mite/index.html
and i suggested that we should take it with us when we go vacationing... i decided that it would be named "mr. cat"
but in the process of crocheting a hat (i ended up taking it apart) i realized that i had ZERO patience for patterns... well i knew that already... especially for crochet patterns... partly due to the fact that i don't use any place holders for rounds... i just go with whatever i think will work...
anyways... so i've decided that i would knit myself a kitty... not to mention that knitting goes by way faster...
but i'll be uploading any photos when i get home... for the time being... i have started the beginnings of mr. cat's butt...
