so... progress has been a bit... slack... partly due to my attempts at moderating the length of time spent knitting and how often i've been knitting...
but i am done salma's hat... just need to wait for it to dry after blocking and then attach the ears on to it... here it is pre-ear flaps...

the quarter is for scale... although... i think i put it in "for scale" more because there were some quarters on my desk... and very oddly... AMERICAN quarters... (it is strange when you're living in canada...)
anyways... i guess i'll get a start on the next hat sometime this week... at this rate... i don't know if i'll be ready for this "art/craft" show... although i haven't really heard any details on the happenings... so who knows if it's still a go...
and friends & co-workers of my friends with hats have been asking about them... so maybe i WILL be able to make back at least the cost of the yarn... even if it's bit by bit...
but aside from the money... it does feel nice to have things i make appreciated...
