the past week was my "vacation" since i was only working at 1 job and no longer have to worry about chemistry class...
...which i got 90% overall! :)
hard work does pay off...
the latest sewing project was a kitty made from a japanese pattern i got from a fellow craftster's post...
i must say that i am rather proud of it since it is my very first plush and it did turn out looking somewhat like the intended...
i will probably tweak the pattern to more of what i want... and maybe change up the fabric...
right now it's made of felt...
my nature to want to finish something as soon as possible... which is at times SO NOT TRUE... i haven't taken any progress pictures...
maybe the next kitty/bunny will be made with a progress report...
and in case you were wondering about the title of this blog entry...
what i have forgotten is how much fun sewing is...
i've been on hiatus from sewing since... well... since school wrapped up in 2005...
i've sewn some here and there but not really anything sufficient and "meaty"...
and now i'm hoping that what i've been up to lately will be my "comeback" into the world of sewing and making clothes...
speaking of clothes... for those of you who have wondered about some of the clothes i made when i was going to school for fashion design at seneca college... i've uploaded the pictures onto my flickr account...

i've also been using safari instead of firefox... which is why my blog entries have been kinda gimpy...
unfortunately they don't really offer much in terms of editing... the only options i've got is spellcheck and insert photo...
i wish someone... hopefully they'll be conveniently reading this and be in a position to make some changes... would do something about this...
